PASIKLABAND Call For Bands




REGISTRATION
  • Participating bands must have at least one(1) member that is a U.P. Student/U.P. Alumnus.
  • Bands are required to submit a band roster, along with the Form 5(s) of the U.P. student band member & demo cd (original and cover).
  • Participants are required to submit a copy of their own song demonstration (CD) for pre-screening by the organizers. 20 bands are to be chosen by the organizers to compete on the event based on these demos.
  • Registration will be at the EMC2 Fraternity Tambayan (3rd Floor, Melchor Hall). There will be no registration fee.
  • Qualified bands will be requested to distribute 20 tickets.
  • Qualified bands must set a meeting with the organizers for an orientation on the event rules and regulations on or before Feb. 25, 2013.
  • Registration will end on Feb. 25, 2013. Band rosters must be submitted on or before this day.


EVENT Day

  • The event will be held at the National Engineering Complex grounds.
  • The event will start at 6:00 p.m.
  • Participating bands are to play two(2) songs, where at least one(1) of these songs must be a band original. Each song is expected to last for three(3) minutes. Bands must notify the organizers if their set will take longer than the given time of six(6) minutes per band.
  • Participating bands are required to be at the venue one(1) hour before they are set to play.
  • Participating bands will be given two(2) minutes to check their equipment on stage before their set.
